Paul P. Cheng, Esq.
Mr. Cheng leads a team of distinguished attorneys in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Cheng has an extensive background in small to large business operations and commercial realty transactions. He has counseled individuals and businesses at all levels in a variety of transactional and litigation matters, including contract, landlord-tenant, land use, employment, franchise law, fraud, identity-theft, family law, business immigration, civil rights violations, products liability, trademark violation, construction defect and general torts.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Cheng served as a judicial extern to Judge Roy Paul and Commissioner Maren Nelson in the Superior Court of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Cheng was also a seasoned mediator with the Superior Court of California and Los Angeles City Attorney’s office, mediating over 50 cases ranging from complex civil litigation to personal injury.
Mr. Cheng has traveled extensively through Asia and is a frequent lecturer at the universities there. Recently, he was a guest lecturer at Beijing University’s School of International Studies. He is fluent in Mandarin.
Mr. Cheng is a member of the Los Angeles and San Bernardino County bar associations and is the President of the Arcadia Kiwanis Club.
Jack Ormes, Esq.
Mr. Ormes is an of counsel attorney in our Pasadena office. His specialty is litigation, with a focus in tort liability. He has litigated more cases in more states than many of the firms in Los Angeles. His verdicts still remain, adjusted for inflation, some of the highest given.
Mr. Ormes has the highest distinctions possible for any attorney. He has been part of the California Bar since 1959.
Raymond Magana, Esq.
Raymond Magana practices as an of counsel attorney in our Pasadena office. He specializes in personal injury, family law, and worker’s compensation. Having practiced close to 25 years we are proud to have him as a senior litigator in our organization. Mr. Magana was also a former candidate for the City Counsel of Los Angeles. Mr. Magana is fluent in Spanish.
Paul Eads, Esq.
Paul Eads is an illustrious of counsel attorney in our Pasadena and Century City Offices. He is part of our family law and estate planning departments. While attending UCLA, Mr. Eads researched the “divorce process” and accompanying coping methods used by the vast majority of Americans. Mr. Eads chose psychology for his undergraduate degree to better prepare for his legal career. He received numerous awards while attending UCLA, including membership in Psi Chi, the psychology honor society and the National Golden Key Honor Society.
After his admittance to Southwestern Law School, Mr. Eads emphasized family law in his studies and was an active member in the school’s family law society. During his second year, he was invited to intern with the Honorable Roy L. Paul, a judge in the high volume family law court in downtown Los Angeles. During his internship, Mr. Eads was privileged to witness hundreds of family law proceedings. As an assistant to the bench, he did extensive research on cutting-edge issues in family law and critiqued several custody evaluations and trial briefs, providing a full report to the court. He received extensive guidance from Judge Paul and was invited back for a second internship the following year.
Michael Berg, Esq.
Michael Berg is an of counsel attorney in our Pasadena office. We are proud to have him working in our Family and Criminal Law departments.
Prior to graduating law school, Mr. Berg externed with the criminal law department of the District Attorney’s office. His areas of expertise range from Drunk Driving defense and misdemeanors to modifications of child support and spousal support.
Mr. Berg is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Tamyko Suzette Gray, Esq.
Ms. Gray is an of counsel attorney in our Pasadena office. She works in our municipal defense and family law departments. Previously, she represented over 20 municipalities in Southern California.
Ms. Gray’s legal experience also includes providing preventative advice to employers on various human resource and employee personnel issues for the purpose of litigation avoidance. It also includes handling of employer investigations into allegations of employee misconduct.
Ms. Gray’s litigation experience includes her defense of employers and management in employment lawsuits. It also includes her defense of employers and management with respect to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) administrative complaints and government investigations involving employee allegations of harassment, discrimination and retaliation.
Ms. Gray received her bachelors at UCLA and her law degree at Temple University. She is fluent in Spanish.
Wayne Cheng, M.D.
Dr. Cheng is a medical director of spine surgery at Loma Linda University Hospital. He is also part of the teaching staff at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Dr. Cheng is part of our medical diagnosis and clinical review departments.
Dr. Cheng has received high awards from Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, North American Society of Spine Surgery, the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, and many others.
Mindy Kwan
Mindy Kwan is an auditor and advisor in our family law, tax, and estate planning departments. She has audited over 1000 different transactions ranging from CEO transactions to bank loan approvals. Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Kwan was a budgetary analyst for the City of Del Mar and negotiated business contracts between financial institutions and corporate clients. Ms. Kwan received two bachelor degrees from the University of California at San Diego.
